Road to the Ranch

Road to the Ranch
sold

This was the view looking down the road that ran next to the little Granbury barn I painted yesterday.  It led back to the main highway, but when I see the image now, I like to imagine it leading to any Texas ranch.

Nice work Julie, I have been following your blog about a week now and look forward to seeing what you have been up to each day. Like this one a lot!

I spent the weekend in far NE Texas with the most beautiful landscapes for a little plein air painting. You have described this painting perfectly, it could lead to any Texas ranch...beautiful!

Your e-mail has been buried amongst others (difficult to catch up when you let computer work slide), good luck with your show, sell the painting at the show. Can't wait to hear all about the fantastic results and feedback you are sure to receive!

Hi Julie,

There's a wonderful feeling of movement here. Super trees.

Thank you all. I do have two upcoming shows that I need to take the time to write about this week.

My favorite paintings are always landscapes, and usually Texas ranch scenes, so this one appeals to me quite a bit, too!
