May Morning

May Morning, 6 x 6
sold

This is the last of my Granbury pieces.  Laurel and I found a shady spot under a tree next to a church parking lot that overlooked a field with a barn (enough prepositional phrases??).  It was Sunday morning, and we got there and finished painting before church started.  This little barn was is such a peaceful setting, with some sleepy cows that meandered over after breakfast (but too late for me).

I like how you included the power lines! The way you kept the values close on the bottom section really does lend it a peaceful feel.

Julie, This is really beautiful. I love your simple shapes, and lact of a lot of excess detail. Very strong and bold composition

Another lovely, dewey morning in the country! I love how you caught that morning light on the side of the shed... so nice! XOXO

This is so wonderfully simple. Love the red roof and sway of the power lines above that beautiful yellow space.
