East Edge of the Lake

East Edge of the Lake, 6 x 8
sold

There is a beautiful lake in Watercolor, Florida, that I am lucky enough to be living on the edge of for the week. I painted this after I arrived the other afternoon and the sun was still hot, but heading down. I found a shaded fishing pier with wonderful painting opportunities in every direction. Lots of grass, trees, lily pads. Tomorrow's post will be a morning version of the same lake.

What a lovely scene and the colors you used for this painting makes it so eye-catching.

Hi Julie,

Wonderful sky, super water and your
trademark exuberant trees. Great work.

Julie, this is fresh and beautiful. The reflections in the water are especially fine!

A beautiful oil from Watercolor. Kind of poetic. I love your rendition of trees over marsh grass and water.
