Boathouse in the Trees

Boathouse in the Trees, 8 x 10
sold

On Western Lake in Watercolor, there is a boathouse where the kids can rent cane poles to fish, or take a canoe or kayak out for an hour. I had a view of it from the pier near our home, and painted this early one morning.  Again, I've got to get a handle on my photography of these greens...bear with me!

Hi Julie,

This is beautiful. I'm glad to see your prices going up. They should. You are worth more.

Gorgeous work.

Very well done, Julie! I like the rhythmic lines of color that march across the painting...beautiful patterns.

Your trees have such a feeling of movement, I can feel the wind blowing through them. Wonderful work, Julie. Like Ann I'm enjoying my, I mean your, vacation too! :)

It would've been fun to have you all there for a paintout! There were really so many beautiful scenes to paint; I really tried to concentrate on the trees (surprise!)

And I actually haven't raised my prices, Barbara, that one was just an 8 x 10, but hmmm......:) thanks for the compliment!
