Lemonade

Lemonade, 6 x 6
sold
I was lucky to get a picture of this one today it was so cold and wet outside.  Don't know what happened to our Spring!  I had fun painting this one--I always enjoy lemons--the vivid yellow and the challenge of creating the illusion of something round--I've been more successful with that, but I like the result no less, particularly the one "out" at the bottom.

Hi Julie,

Lovely. I like the contrast of the bright against the neutral with shots of red and blue.
Super.

Take care,

Barbara

I like the shadows and the square strokes of the brush.

See you later this a.m.

These are really good. I like the composition (I like to have one thing separate from the others) and I think you've achieved roundness very well. Lemons are not easy. they're so... well... yellow. Next to the tulips, this is my favorite one of your still lifes.

This is beautiful! Especially the loose brushwork.
