More on the Tree Theme....

Growing Up Together, 12 x 12

This is a larger one I did this weekend from a smaller study.  Now that I'm working on trees I'm thoroughly enjoying their differences.  It's just reinforced the lesson that studying something truly helps you see it in a new way.

Ok ... you have inspired me. I really need to work on my trees and you are doing such a great job with these! I love the color you used on the path - stunning!

Hi Julie,

There's something so free and spontaneous looking in this one. Perhaps the spots of suspended green do that, and the perfect, yet relaxed design.

Happy painting.

I have recently written a poem about my ineptitude as an artist! Your work doesn't make me feel any better! Oh for your talent!

I really love the shady passages -they create a wonderful depth... the shadow crossing over the path is masterful. Great focus, Julie!

Fabulous colors and such depth with so few strokes...how do you do it! It might not be easy but you certainly make it look that way!
