Part of the fun of working on foregrounds is getting to play in the paint near the bottom of the painting. A little thicker paint, a little looser palette knife work....

I like the high horizon line. You have painted a great feeling of space.
Julie I really like the texture of the thick paint in the foreground, it creates so much interest and depth.
