Distant Farm

Distant Farm, 9 x 12

Part of the fun of working on foregrounds is getting to play in the paint near the bottom of the painting. A little thicker paint, a little looser palette knife work....

Julie,
You do work! I enjoy your comments about the painting process. You have a simple way to state things that is easy to understand. As an art teacher, I appreciate this.

Thanks,
Mark

I like the high horizon line. You have painted a great feeling of space.

Julie I really like the texture of the thick paint in the foreground, it creates so much interest and depth.
