Every time I go to California, I fall in love with its trees. I think these tall ones are eucalyptus--someone correct me if I'm wrong. Majestic and bathed in warm California sun....

Great piece Julie, the road really pulls the viewer in. I really like the way you have handled the edges of the trees. Great shapes too.

Hi Julie,

I feel the same way you do about the trees in California. This painting has that tree joy feeling going for it. Absolutely perfect.

Good morning Julie!....Here at least!

Love the simple, but confident composition and brushwork in this one!

You have said just enough to pique the imagination and participation of the viewer. A gem for sure!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

I really like your work. There is a lovely combination of freedom of brushstroke with a real understanding of values, drawing, color etc.

Very nice, Julie! I know what you mean about the California trees. They are enormous and statuesque. Congrats on being on Daily Painter Originals!
