Among the Liliputians

Among the Liliputians, 6 x 8 - study

This arrangement at first seemed as if the cherries had a crush on the pear, then I thought it more looked like the pear was Gulliver and the cherries were the the citizens of Liliput.

Regardless, my apologies for the reflection on this photo--the darks never fail to give me issues. I take the photos outside in a spot I wouldn't think gets much reflection, but the darks almost always find it. Anyone have any tricks or suggestions, besides creating a photography studio in which to photograph?

Julie,
This is fun and fresh- I just love your work! Colors are beautiful and sting but soft...
I did get one of those photo cubes. With still working full time, I was spending too much precious time dealing with outside weather, bad photos and glare, etc. Got it off ebay...Amazon has them also. Best $40 you will spend. Make sure to get the 16 inch at least. I think mine is called Square One from Discount Tommy. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Very nice, Julie. I like the title, too. You're very creative! Your last cherry painting is really good, too. I find it helpful to paint the same subject over and over, too. It's always a learning experience. :-)

Hi Julie,
I thought I remembered Dreama Tolle Perry posting about her photocube and just googled and found it. This is the link.

Love the project.
