On the way to the Skip Whitcomb workshop in Wimberly last week, I kept passing this red barn. It caught my eye every time, as the morning light couldn't have been more beautiful on it.

Beautiful, Julie! It's such a gorgeous area and you have captured its beauty. The colors in the barn with your wonderful greens is engaging. Love your brush strokes, too.

Your work is so lovely Julie! The sunny light quality seems always right on target. Wish I could come paint with you guys - your Austin group looks amazing! It's getting really hot in Florida, so the snakes are surely lingering around here too! Best be careful& get those boots on!

Hi Julie,

I love the design and colour in this one. My blog is a bit messed up this week, so if I don't comment it's because I'm working on getting it hosted at the right name.

Super work.

Very nice little painting. I love the abstracted compostion. The slice of sky is very effective. The color of the barn is perfect.
