This is one of many driveways off the highway on my route to Hunt, TX. I stop and photograph scenes along the way during my biweekly trips. The sun had been up about an hour and was reflecting on the verticals nicely. Pedestrian scenes like this one are somehow the most inspiring to me....

You can make the most common place subjects just spectacular! I love the composition. The mailbox just seems to balance it all and I love the diagonal wires. Beautiful painting!
Congratulations on your gallery debut; you are in great company there! Love it all here, the telephone lines sweeping across the sky combined with the chunky horizontal "stripes", and then the verticals breaking up that space...beautiful!
