Summer Fields

Summer Fields, Study
6 x 8 in., oil on panel
sold

I experimented with a broader view than I usually take on in this little painting--a type of painting to which I'm always attracted.  I like the result, but have to say I did not enjoy the process - too tedious!  In the future, bigger will be better for me with this type of composition.

So small, yet so much depth. Beautiful atmospheric conditions. So much said on such a small space. :)

I really like the green field, green without being GREEN. I know what you mean about the size, I decided to use 6x8 for the 30 in 30 challenge and really wished afterward that I'd used 8x10. The great thing is you can paint this as large as you please now!xo
